Devo Speaker for 2011, Elijah Aaron
Elijah is 29 years old and currently lives near Roswell, GA with his wife, Leisha, and their one-year-old daughter, McKenna. He is currently serving the Roswell church of Christ as an evangelist. Elijah has only been involved in full-time preaching for about a year now. Before that time, he worked in the corporate world in various accounting and consulting firms a a forensic accountant / Certified Fraud Examiner. While working in this arena, Elijah was involved in a number of preaching opportunities, filling in as various congregations had need. In July of 2010, he was contacted by the Elders of the church at Roswell with the opportunity to begin full-time work, an opportunity that was simply too good to pass up.
Elijah loves the opportunities that are now afforded to him in the service of the Kingdom, especially with the opportunity to spend more time in the Word and to try to stir up the minds and hearts of the saints. One of his favorite aspects of full-time work is the opportunity to teach more Bible classes, one of his true passions. Elijah feels a special responsibility to be a Titus 2 man of God and try to connect with those younger than he, striving to serve as an example to them.
